Patient Participation Group
The Loughton Patient’s Group was formed in 2003 and its aim is to provide a two way avenue of communication between patients and the Practice. It also aims to have a positive influence on the services and quality of care provided by the Practice.
The Patient’s Group consists of a variety of patients who are all patients registered with doctors at Loughton Health Centre. Meetings are held 3 or 4 times a year and are also attended by one of the Partners and the Practice Manager. Patients are kept informed about topics discussed at these meetings through the Group's Newsletter, which is available in the waiting room and online (see the link below).

The group wishes to encourage "working" patients to join the group, so that the interests of younger patients can be represented.
Patient Groups will be a very integral part of the new GP Commissioning and will be working closely with the partners and staff to implement the new changes ahead.
